I love the look of this season's orange lipstick and I want to wear it but whenever I put it on, it makes my teeth look yellow. What can I do?

I usually wear dark or brightly coloured nail polish but whenever I remove it, my nails are lightly stained. Why is this?
The colours that you favour contain a high percentage of strong pigment which can leave the stains that you mention. Wearing a clear base coat such as Resist & Shine UV Color Protect nail polish in Transparent will prevent this from happening but you could also try buffing your nails first. This reduces ridges and polishes smooth the top layer of the nail, making it less likely to absorb colour but also giving the best base for nail polish.
My mascara always clogs on my lashes. How do I prevent this from happening?
First make sure your mascara isn't past its best - if it's dry and clogging on the wand it won't do the best job on your eyelashes. Telescopic Clean Definition Mascara has a special wand to separate lashes. Before applying, ensure lashes are clean as traces of old mascara will cause clumps, then apply in single strokes. Allow 30 seconds to dry between coats, then repeat the process as many times as you want. If lashes do stick together, then brush through between coats using a lash comb.

Make-up artists clean their brushes between clients or at the end of a day's shoot if they are working with just one model. It's best to wash them after each day's uses as skin oil and dirt can quickly collect on the bristles. Simply swish through warm soapy water, rinse well and leave to dry on a kitchen towel overnight.
